I remember the days when I started writing on my blog in my little room with the dim lighting, and didn’t imagine anyone to read it but somehow I just wanted to document my life in some way as a memory. To write my life on the digital pages and within my private journals. Til this day, I always remind myself why I started my blog in the first place. It was for myself, to express my strange mind and to write away my thoughts.
I have probably deleted over a hundred posts that I never ended up posting about, such as “Why it’s good to date your best friend”, “Why I don’t believe in soul mates”, “My current relationship with food” and “Being an adult is scary”. Everyday seems to go past without a care in the world. The day doesn’t ask us would you like to pause for a moment, how about a break here? Shall I rewind there? It just keeps going, and somehow that’s very comforting to know that we just have to go with the flow.
things I’m grateful for:
- Kind people/ I cannot express how it warms my soul to hear the words from kind people. Those are the moments that I crave more of. Whether it’s the person at the store counter or a comment on my post, it just makes me grateful for the random acts of kindness we face when we least expect it.
- 500 bloggers/ I’m so thankful for each and everyone of you, who may of only read one of my posts or read several of them. Just knowing your eyes have stared at the words I wrote, seems such a strange but comforting thing. Your comments make me smile and I still remember reaching 100 followers and being over the moon.
- Those close to me/ My boyfriend, close friends, my family and his family. I love them all so much and I’m grateful to have these people in my life. As someone who doesn’t have many friends, I feel blessed to have enough people to love and love me for who I am.
- The basic necessities in life/warm showers, water, food, bed, clothes and all the simple things in life I often forget how lucky I am to have.
