Everyone goes through it. The day when everything doesn’t seem to go right. Waking up on the wrong side of the bed, tripping on the stairs or spilling the tea on your clothes. It’s one of those things that we can all say to one another “I’ve been there”. It’s easy to get caught up in our own lives, and tell ourselves why is this happening or when will this happen? But it’s another thing to remember that everyone goes through some kind of struggle no matter how big or small. There are good days and there are bad. The number one thing is to accept that. No one is normal nor is anyone perfect. We may have been told to live each day to the fullest, yet sometimes living life is to embrace all those moments that cause us to fail or succeed. It’s difficult I know, but worth it in the end.
Discovering what fills your heart with joy will make your days brighter. Whether that’s writing, exercising, talking to a friend, drinking tea or going window shopping. We grow older day by day, and each day serves a new lesson. A new opportunity to change, learn and grow. Filled with tears will drain your soul and dry out your eyes. Ghostly thoughts will only haunt and never comfort, but the one’s who love you will always be there for you. Be gentle and kind to yourself. Don’t put so much heavy pressure onto your shoulders, until it’s difficult to walk freely. Breathe the air slowly and really stay present in this moment. It’s all there is. Don’t worry about what others think, and certainly never give a slight second to care for those who only want to hurt. Your family will always want the best for you. You are a strong person, regardless of what your demons say.
Your anxiety may feel as if it is consuming and swallowing you whole in the worst places. Whether it’s walking on the street or standing in the train. Remember to breathe. Count to ten. Fight back the tears and pray to God. Pray that everything will be okay. Because it will. The world has enough joy, pain, tears, laughter and people experiencing their own. Accept your blue days and embrace your happiness. But never let the grey cloud thunder over you. It will never reign. Life is short so they say. Enjoy as much of it as you can, accept your emotions, spread more kindness and never let anyone pull you down. Don’t forget the child like imagination of yours. Most of all – stay in this moment. Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. – Buddha
